The creative company from Channel 4

People always want to know how we work. How come we make campaigns for Channel 4 but also do work for other people? How come we do the production and the creative too? How come it’s taken us so long to get this website together? The truth is, we don’t like analysing what we do too much. For the past nine years we have simply got on and done it, without stopping think up any kind of sales pitch or phony mantras.

Everyone says they do things differently, and we didn’t want to sound just like them. But now that we’re opening our doors to basically everyone, we thought it might be time to give people the low down.

4Creative began in 2001. Today the work of the department encompasses over 1200 TV spots a year, all of the through-the-line advertising output for Channel 4, Film4, More4, E4 and even the odd spot for 4Music. It includes digital campaigns, brand identity work, publishing, radio, product design and ambient.

And (yes it’s true) where the opportunity’s right we are very keen to work with other like-minded people outside the Channel – be it direct to client or in partnership with an agency.


You may have already seen some of this work – our sponsorship campaigns for clients as diverse as Stella Artois, Ford and Nokia, the live Honda Civic Skydive ad or our latest production for the Sy Fy channel, to name but a few.
